Wow! These are gorgeous tulips! Did you know that deer find tulips delicious? I did not. We planted almost 200 bulbs last fall and the deer have enjoyed them very much. Us no so much. Fortunately I have been able to find beautiful tulips to photograph and plan to bring some into the house, too.

Maybe that is why when I was a kid we didn’t have tulips when I lived in the woods in Northern Minnesota. 😀

We planted over 100 last fall and have only seen 3 blooms this spring. Fortunately the arboretum has a lot of deer proofing in place so I have been able to enjoy their tulips.
