When I first started to get serious about photography, I bought what was then called a pre-DLSR. A fancy word for point and shoot with a lot more options. When I took this photo I was so satisfied with the results. I haven’t stopped taking photos since. Date of the photo: April 9, 2008.

I keep coming back to this photo. The tulip is indeed unusual, but I think I like the colors that go so well together, as if nature tried its best to please our eyes,
